Updates...

Since our water was turned off all day yeterday AGAIN for re-plumbing issues, Madison and I decided to make the best of it and head over to CA Adventure. Since we were there when it opened, we headed straight for Toy Story. LONG story short, we waited in line for about 45 minutes to find that the ride totally lost power at that point! So I gave up. We walked around then went over to the Brother Bear play area. She did great going across the first bridge. Then a gentleman behind us asked if she liked brdige when I stated she is impartial unless someone is boiuncing, then she doesn't like it. So what does the jacka** do at the next bridge, he jumps on it behind us! We got to the point that it was the rope bridge type and Madison just sat in front of it as if trying to contemplate how to cross without using the bridge. (We took the stairs down). We actually stayed for the little show thing. It was cute. In the end, the kids could go up and touch and hug and kiss Kodak and Kenai. Madison went directly to Kodak first. Hug and kiss. Then she waited patiently inline (as other kids cut right in) and at first was apprehensive about going by herself but then changed her mind, went right in for the hug and gave him a kiss.

We then headed over to Bugs Land. She usually likes the Heimlich's Chew Chew train, then the Lady Bug Screw, then the Hot Air Balloon things. Not today. Oh well. We then headed back to Midway Mania Toy Story since that is the best ride at CA Adventure. Waited for like 35 minutes AGAIN and finally got on. I think mothers with their toddlers should be able to ride in the single rider line since she rides on my lap anyway (so she can reach the puller to shoot). That's just my tidbit on that. After, we finished up at CA Adventure and thought we would take the Monorail back but Madison was showing signs of tiredness so we just trammed on back to the truck and she was asleep by the time I got out of the parking structure!

We came home. She napped, I cleaned. How fair is that by the way? When do I get to nap and she clean? LOL. Read some books, watched her VeggieTales Silly Song DVD, bathtime, bible, and bed at 8.
