We then got ready for LA Zoo!! I've been wanting to go for a while now but we've just never planned it through. SO, we took the plunge - zoo and Handy's Market in Burbank for Tri-Tip sandwiches! (Ryan used to live in Burbank).
Luckily we arrived before the zoo opened. That's right - we arrived EARLY!! Write that one down in the record books! HA! It got so busy - we eventually left about 1:30 since it was napish time. Getting back on track - I had to take this photo since we call her Little Squirrel -
Here some various snapshots throughout the morning -
Madison enjoyed the waterfall in the Children's Zoo as much as the animals - oh, again she did not enjoy the petting zoo :(
Madison did enjoy smelling the flowers throughout the Botanical garden.
Here are some AWESOME photos from the afternoon! Madison's Auntie Bippers LOVES, no - is OBSESSED with giraffes. This portion is mainly for her:

Great pics!! I'm glad you guys had fun at the zoo. I think we're having Maddie's 2nd birthday party at the zoo (OMG, I can't believe she's going to be 2...).
