Madison's new "thing" at any food time is dipping. She relishes the chance to dip her food into anything. Blueberry syrup ketchup was her dipping choice this evening.
Since our plumbing is STILL backed up (2 days now), we used a BOGO coupon at IHOP. FYI~ don't order the Chicken Fried Steak - gravy is horrible there! Back on track, the waiter brought out the ketchup and hot sauce prior to our meals. The brainiac she has become, Madison knew ketchup was for dipping and she was STARVING by this time so she wanted to dip. Keep in mind she had nothing to dip with but I guess that does not matter to a toddler!
This was the entertainment for the WHOLE restaurant which included 3 families including us and the IHOP employees. The couple across the way from us thought it was *adorable* - "nothing cuter than hearing a toddler laugh". Yeah, okay I thought! And then there was the older mother and daughter that couldn't hear a siren if it was in front of them so I knew she was not bothering them!
~ video should be posted here but I can't figure out how to translate the jibber jabber computer language to make it download! ~
Anywho, the video should've been her playing with the ketchup bottle screaming "open", "cose", and "I diid it!"! She was SO proud of herself while Ryan and I were both trying to figure out as to why she was performing like a circus monkey - she is usually very good at dinner. Terrible 2's at 20 months! That's my girl!
