When Ryan came home last week after a meeting with his boss, I realized my comfy world of steady income was no longer. He, along with 5 others were laid off due to the economy. He was thinking of quitting but he knew how important it was that we have a steady income. SO, here we are a week later and things are actually better than they've been in a while.
Prior to him being laid off, he was hardly home since he got up about 8:30, work about 9, then did notary jobs in the evening. I'd see him as I was going to bed. I was unhappy he was never home, he was unhappy because he was never home but we felt as though there was nothing we can do. We both prayed for direction for ourselves and our family. Family prayed for us. And then it happend -
Ryan was thinking about doing his business (notary) full time so that is the plan and YES, its working! He made budget for this week plus some extra :)
He is home A LOT more! He runs errands with Madison and I. He even woke up this morning with her at 6:15 so mommy could sleep! Yes, I enjoyed it tremendously. I get to have my husband back, and Madison gets to play with her dad. The first few days were rough as we were all trying to acclimate to the change but it is going well and I pray that it continues to go well.
I will try to keep everyone posted. (I'm sure the majority stay posted via facebook as well).
