Anywho, that was my day yesterday. I tried to change my mood by doing art with Madison (which turned out WAY cute) but when she put the last bead on... well, I'll just say we had to start over!

LONG story short, when I gave Madison her good night kisses and hugs last night, she said "I love you!". She has NEVER said it that way before, it felt like she meant it. She'll say "love you babe" since that is what Ryan and I say but for the first time I got "I love you!". Of course it erased ALL the bad that I experienced earlier in the day.
I guess I've blogged about this just to make a point that children always seem to bring out the best in us - their smile, laughter, or what they say. Thank you Madison for "loving me". I love you lots Squirrel!

How SWEET!!!!! It's totally heart-warming/melting whenever Maddie says it and I always get a little teary. Ha!
ReplyDeleteAnd, I love the butterfly! Too cute!!
